Byrdie, Storm, and Kahhori were exploring the fifth dimension, their new home, taking in the majesty of the wide variety of color, the expanding horizon of the multiverse.
But it didn't feel like home without Captain Carter.
They came upon the remains of Infinity Ultron. The only thing left from the Eminence was the armor and the Infinity Stones.
It was at this moment Byrdie had an idea. “Hey gals, I think we can use this to bring back Peg.” The two of them looked at her with disbelief. Byrdie continued, “No, come on, hear me out on this. If we can get her shield back, it should have some traces of her essence. If we combine the stones and some of our power with her shield, we might be able to reconstitute her.”
Storm interjected. “The question remains... should we tamper with reality in such a way? Is it a perversion?”
Kahhori used her super speed to speed through the fifth dimension to find her shield. She was gone and back in only a few minutes.
Back with the shield in her arms, she laid it on top of the armor, saying, “If Peggy had the chance to save one of us, she would want us to go for it.”
Storm stepped closer, summoning her powers. “Allfathers, Allmothers across the multiverse, lend me your strength to restore this fallen hero.”
Byrdie added, “Hold on to your butts!”
The three of them used their powers on the stones and the shield. But the result was greater than they anticipated. Not only was Peggy back... but her power grew greater than even they had imagined.
The stones and the watcher energy had enhanced the super soldier serum in her body. Her muscles grew to gargantuan proportions. Her biceps were as big as her head, her hair floating upward. Not only that, she grew so large that the others were like ants to her. The infinity armor had incorporated itself into her body, and the stone's energy flowed through her veins. In awe of the power she was feeling, she said, “I am Infinite.”
