Colossus was initially hesitant to accept Rogue's romantic invitation. Why should he risk kissing her? After all, he's seen how weak and frail victims of her leeching touch become. But after she reassured him that he'd be unharmed, he reluctantly agreed.
Her kiss was surprisingly gentle and supple, like a summer rose. But even more surprising was how her body adapted to Colossus's acquired powers.
It turns out that Colossus was right. Her touch did make him look weak and frail... just not in the way he expected! Sure, he was unharmed, but compared to her, he was downright tiny!
