When professor Nina Dowd touched that alien artifact and became the first (and seemingly only) human to transform into a New God, it should have been the greatest day in her life. She was now an impossibly beautiful immortal with the power to control the minds of anyone who gazed upon her. She should have been worshipped as a goddess.
Unfortunately, a rather tragic side effect of her metamorphosis was the addition of two impossibly huge and dense breasts so heavy that even her newly enhanced physique could not lift them. Thus, the woman who should've rightfully been ruler of Earth was instead mocked, ridiculed, and dismissed as nothing more than a joke... before simply being forgotten.
Years later, deep within the bowels of the secret Mt. Rushmore headquarters of the All-Purpose Enforcement Squad (A.P.E.S.) that has kept the would-be goddess incarcerated since her humiliating rebirth... two very different men made two equally terrible mistakes.
You see, while no one considered her a serious threat, there were still several government scientists dedicated to studying the transformed Professor Dowd in the hopes of either replicating her transformation or curing her of it. One particularly brilliant and gifted individual thought that they'd cracked the code on the latter while studying samples of Baron Sin Gaaz's DNA reconstruction formula. And they had... until a particularly clumsy and stupid intern made his mistake and accidentally knocked a blood sample of the lesser-known (but massively muscular) New God named Rip Roar directly into the "cure" while its creator was on a lunch break. The scientist's mistake? Skipping past the usual safety procedures and immediately injecting his new formula directly into Professor Dowd herself.
As her blood boiled and bones cracked, Nina Dowd erupted in a thunderous cackle. Her breasts grew slightly bigger, but not at the same pace as newly empowered musculature or towering height. Taller than Giganta, stronger than Superman, and with her powers of breast-based hypnotism boosted until even the famous will of Hal Jordan is unable to resist her command, Nina Dowd has finally claimed the destiny that she had been so cruelly denied all those many years ago!
All hail the Mighty Endowed, Goddess-Queen of Earth!
