The X-Men have a long (and sometimes strange) history, thanks in no small part to the many enemies they have fought against over the years. From the 'Friends of Humanity' anti-mutant coalition and the robotic Sentinels to individual threats like Apocalypse or Juggernaut.
Speaking of the Juggernaut, their latest confrontation with the unstoppable one involved his source of power, the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak. The X-Men fought to try and recapture the gem so that they could prevent its use.
During their fight, however, it shattered and released its power from within. The Juggernaut returned to normal as a result, but the heroic mutants were unsure as to where the energy went.
Their question was answered less than a day later, as the X-Women who had been present at the gem's destruction ended up transforming. A familiar red light shined out from their bodies as they began to grow, becoming bigger and stronger than ever before.
It didn't take them long to realize where all of that power had gone, but a bigger problem was on the horizon: they had trouble fighting one Juggernaut, so how will the X-Men deal with THREE of equal strength?
